If you've ever wanted to create interactive Flash content, then learning ActionScript will be a key to your success. ActionScript is the scripting language used by Flash and Flash Builder for creating effective and exciting animations for games, interaction with databases, video playback and more.
In this online course, you will learn to write ActionScript to work with various components, like list boxes. You will write ActionScript code to control sounds, video playback and how to display video from a web cam. You will also look at how to use XML data in ActionScript for options or data used in your animations.
Prerequisites
Students should be comfortable working in Flash before beginning this online ActionScript course. A background in programming is helpful but not necessary. A familiarity with JavaScript is helpful, but not necessary.
