Learn how to use ActionScriptiong to create content, create and manipulate components, to detect browsers, to load movies, and to animate and process data. Students will need a copy of Flash. A 30-day trial is available.
In this course students will write ActionScripts that:
- Explore the ActionScript environment and create a simple ActionScript.
- Use functions
- Respond to events
- Define custom classes
- Use loops and conditional logic
- Use mathematical operators and functions
- Work with text and arrays
- Modify the colors of objects and apply filters at runtime
- Work with multimedia objects and that allow for drag and drop objects.
Prerequisites
Students should be comfortable working in Flash. A background in programming is helpful but not necessary.
Requirements
Students must have a copy of Adobe Flash Professional.
