This course will review the skills necessary to pass the Writing portion of the GED. Topics that will be covered include: Basic English Usage, Sentence Structure, Grammar, and Organization.
In this course students will:
- Take the Writing pretest to identify areas where they will need to work.
- Correctly identify the asnwer to questions involving correct usage and sentence structure.
- Write well-formed sentences and paragraphs in essay form.
- Write essays in preparation for the GED exam.
- Practice critical thinking skills necessary to doing well on the GED exams.
- Review what they have learned and prepare for the GED Writing Exam.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with browsing the internet, uploading files and using their operating system.
Requirements
No special software or equipment is required for this course.
