Microsoft Access' advanced features allow a user to create relational databases to build queries, forms, reports, and data access pages that combine information from multiple tables. In this way, you can reap all the benefits of data normalization (deleting duplicate information).

Learn the benefits of Access' Switchboard which allows you to set up your database such that anybody can use it even without knowing the program. A switchboard is essentially a form with buttons which open forms, run queries or produce reports. All the user has to do is simply click on the buttons provided.

This course will teach you to:

  • Build and use macros to expand the capabilities of the switchboard

    Create your own Microsoft Access database in this course.

Prerequisites

This course is a continutaion of the Microsoft Access for Beginners course. Students will need to have completed that course or be comfortable with the topics covered in that course.

Requirements

Students will need a copy of Microsoft Access. A trial version is available.
